Please help ASAP!!

Hi! We're on vacation on Myrtle Beach and Lauren won't eat! Could it be that she's ready for fewer meals? We feed her 5 times a day usually,but it's 5:20 and she's barely eaten today! Can someone please respond with your baby's meal schedule??

this might be late.. but if baby isn't upset I'd sit back and relax... could be any number of things but as long as baby I not freaking out, you shouldn't either

If baby has no fever or other signs of something being up...
consider teething
growth spurt
changing schedule
you are on vacay maybe just unsettled

My LO's feeding schedule was totally off when we went on vacation. We typically try for 3 purée meals per day of different fruits, veggies, and cereal, plus I nurse ~4 times... but all he would eat for the week we were at the beach was bananas and/or breast milk.

My little one doesn't eat if she's distracted aka new surrounding or if her teeth are bothering her. They're smart... She will eat when she is real hungry!

At 5:20pm I happened to be busy.
Geez.... Getting upset after no replies after 5 minutes is a bit ridiculous.

Also, sometimes my LO decides not to eat much solid food some days.
But if your referring to BM or formula, I haven't experienced that.

This. I would definitely call the dr, not rely on us to get back to you in a timely manor. Im sure she's just out of her element. If she isn't super fussy I wouldn't be too concerned.

You're a mom. Act like one. Your parenting decisions shouldn't come solely from advice off of an internet board.

And your school grade tantrum was ridiculous.

Did you not have a DH to talk to? A pedi?
We don't know your daughter and we don't know her schedule.

But. FWIW, Cu has gone five hours PLENTY OF TIMES without eating. Time change because your traveling? Change of scenery? Too much time in a car? I can go on and on.

Um, you're a not nice person. I'm sorry that I freaked... I'm a FTM and we're out of our element and it's hot here and I was terrified of her overheating and I panicked. I called our doctor and he didn't get back to me very quickly. If you can't reply and be nice... maybe don't reply.

No one is blaming you for worrying about your LO. But don't get upset when you FLIP OUT because you don't get a response and someone calls you on it. For realz.

Actually I think @rachael_c26 is very nice

And I think she responded quite appropriately: covering why your LO not eating for a few hours is nbd, but also trying to suggest (what ithink a lr if us agree with), that also getting mad at the board for not replying right away isn't really the best way to show your maturity ...

I think the doctor not getting back to you right away, is a good hint that he/she probably isn't that concerned as well. And I personally wouldn't be, unless there was other symptoms.

Worst case scenario, you could always bring her to a local clinic. And if you want to rely on Internet answers for your frayed nerves, you could always use Dr. google. You'll probably get a response faster from that, than us most days.
