I like this stroller for its double option. Does anyone have it? Like/recommend or have any issues with it? We would have a 2.5 year old and newborn using it.
Appreciate any feedback!

I don't have the select, but I do have the baby jogger city mini double and I love it so so much. I actually like that its a side-by-side....my two girls hold hands in it
I tried it in the store and I really liked the concept but I went with the City Mini Double for a few reasons. The Select was much heavier. I didn't like that you had to remove the second seat to fold it up. Not a big deal for some but for me, that's just not practical. And the big one... I have a Honda CRV with a rear cargo shelf. This allows me to put a stroller underneath and still have room for groceries and stuff on top. The City Select wouldn't fit (we took it out and tried). But the City Mini fits perfectly so that was pretty much my deciding factor- oh and the easy fold of course! I thought I had a picture of it in my car but can't find it on this machine. Here's the idea:

Darn! I thought it felt a little heavier than the city mini but was leaning toward it for the inline rather than side by side model. But you are right about removing the second seat. It might be too much of a pain.... Hmmm I thought I had settled it.

Do you feel like it is bulky when coming in and out of places, ie: stores, etc? I love my city mini single and how easy I can steer it with one hand. Not sure the double is as easy?

I bought a gently used city select a couple of weeks ago. DS and this LO will be 23 months apart so we definitely need a double stroller. We have the city mini gt for DS and love it. At first I thought I wanted to get the double version of the city mini gt but after watching a you tube video of the car seat adapter instillation (takes approximately 20 minutes) I lost interest. For me it is important that I can use the car seat adapter, but that it is easily removable so that I can use the seat or bassinet attachment for LO as well. Also while this stroller folds with one quick pull and is very flat, the car seat attachment sticks up and takes up a bit of room. With the city select the car seat adapter snaps in quickly, just like the single city mini gt. The seats also snap-in and are easily removable so I am not worried about folding the stroller and setting it back up again...it will take about a minute or two to do so. One thing that does kind of worry me though is the leg room...when the seats are in certain positions there doesn't seem to be much leg room...which might be an issue for DS.

Actually, I have never once had a problem fitting the city mini anywhere. It will definitely clear all standard doorways and I've even taken it into handicap stalls at the zoo and what not. If you live in a city like NY and do a lot of walking and not driving or older buildings that are not handicap accessible then the City Select is the better option. But if you live in a suburb and spend a lot of time in the car and just need it for malls, zoos, parks, etc. City Mini Double is the way to go.
Do you find it is a hassle to fold it and remove the seat? Or is it worth the extra steps?
Not at all. It doesn't bother me for even a second. The seats take about 5 seconds to snap in and out and then folding it up is a cinch. I have a CRV as well.

I thought the leg room looked a little small too...

I plan on getting the city select double for our twins. I went to BBB last weekend to check it out and make sure it fits in my car, a Kia Soul. It fit perfectly in the back and was super easy to fold up (granted there wasn't room leftover, but we bought the car literally two weeks before we found out we were pg, with twins no less!)! I also liked that the brake is up by the handle not a bar you have to try to flip up by the wheels! The Chicco car seats fit well in the back seat of my car and snaps into the car seat adaptor on the stroller very easily. I was a little concerned about how big the car seat adaptor was for the select but it's just fine. Hope you find the stroller that'll work best for you!!

I'll take a look. I love the city mini that I have and focused in the select because I thought some of my accessories might fit on it. (Wishful thinking)

I have a City Mini single and I love it! I always planned to the get the City Mini double, but the car seat adaptor scares me to death; the reviews are awful! Since, snapping the car seat in is a must for me I think the City Select would be the best fit.
My sister has the B Ready, but I'm just not a fan of the lower seat.
Like slwprincess said....it fits through a standard doorway so it's never been an issue for me. I can and have used one hand to steer it, like if I'm drinking a coffee or something. I really have no complaints. One thing I love, that I'm not sure the select does...is that the seats recline to almost flat. My girls nap in it pretty often if we are out on a day trip, and this was essential for me. They also have vents behind the seats to keep little ones cool while napping.
