Graco 70 Carseat

Does anyone know if this seat comes with a base? It looks like it from the pictures. Also, can you get a separate base like you can for the infant seats? I'm only seeing the Snugride bases. TIA!

If you're talking about the Graco MySize 70, then no, it doesn't have a base. Most convertible seats do not have a base. There may be one that does.

If you didn't want to buy another seat then yes. We have two infant bases, one infant seat, two convertibles, and two high back boosters.

Thanks for your response. I found a great deal at Target and DH gave the stamp of approval for 2 so we're going for it! I think it will save a lot of trouble!

Definitely worth it to have 2! I can't imagine moving and reinstalling a car seat all the time.

The only convertible I've seen with a base is the Graco SmartSeat and the seat is $300 (unless you want it in pink and then it's $240), and the extra base is $100- so you're dishing out a whopping $400 for one seat that is extremely heavy, bulky and difficult to move anyway. For that much $ you can get two convertible seats (and good ones at that) and a 15 minute shopping spree at Target on your way out the door

Yeah, stick with the MySize, really it's a decent seat. The SmartSeat is short lived in comparison for height and pricey for how long it actually lasts. Same with the Orbit convertible.
