3 wks PP~~ HELP PLEASE!

Hello ladies..I have a question for you ladies..I wasn't really too concerned until I told my Mom about this and she seems worried. I am in a sleep deprived, cluster BF'ing mode so I haven't thought I should call the doc.  3 weeks ago today, I had my RCS and they used stitches and glue instead of staples this time. I feel that is a good thing because my recovery seems easier this time around. I have been putting these soft cloths that the hossy gave me over my incision, between my saggy belly. About 4 days ago, I noticed a little bit of drainage on the cloth. I know some of the glue has started to fall off from the side. I just don't know what to do. Has anyone had drainage this far out from the surgery? TIA!

    I would definitely call your doc for a follow up for this. I am no doc but wouldn't think you should still be having drainage at this late date. My incision was healed by then. You may have an infection or fluid build up. Either way definitely call your doc to have it looked at. You don't want to wait just incase it is an infection.

    Thanks for your reply Tallulahsmom. I wasn't completely healed at this point when I had the staples so I didn't know about the healing process with stitches and glue. I think I will call the nurse at my OB :(

    I had steri strips and my incision was pretty much healed at a week pp.

    Yes, definitely check with your OB. I never had staples and did not have any drainage that far out. Hope it's nothing bad.

    Yeah I'm 3 weeks out and doc checked me at two weeks. I would def get that checked out. I hope everything is ok!

    I had excessive drainage that is still going on 7 weeks PP. It is because there were major issues though, and I have to go to the doctor and get checked twice a week. Go see your doctor now. You don't want things to get so bad they have to open you back up and pack the wound.

    This happened to me.  I talked to my nurse over the phone,  She said it is normal and that if I wanted, I could come in, but it isn't necessary.  I am 5 wks pp now and every now and then I have one spot that has a little drainage/blood but just a little.  I go back on the 21st.
