We have a mothers room for pumping at work. I guess while I was putting my pump bag (with pump inside) in my metal cabinet/locker at my CUBE (key note) after coming back from pumping, I accidently turned it on somehow. I didn't know this because right when I got to my desk I put on my headphones. Fast forward 30 min later when I'm taking my headphones off to go to lunch I hear it pumping. I'm sure everyone else heard it pumping too since the metal was echoing. Not to mention to be able to get to the pump to turn it off I had to open the cabinet and get into the bag where things only got louder. I'm pretty much mortified now and I think I'll eat at my desk.

OMG that's hilarious.

One night when DH and I were watching TV in bed something started vibrating really loudly in my underwear drawer. You can guess what it was. I have no idea how it spontaneously turned on.

A lot of people wouldn't have recognized the sound. I would have been embarrassed anyway too!

DHs electric razor somehow started going off in our carry on while going through security at the air port. That was super embarrassing because it certainly sounded like something else!

I think the only people who would know would be pumping moms or husbands of moms who pumped...and I bet it has happened to them.

This past January, I was driving to an all employee meeting with other managers. I have a third row and one of the few male managers was sitting in the back and suddenly piped up asking me if I had something in the back that could be vibrating. My pump had been turned on accidentally! I had to ask for them to dig it out and pass it up. Quite embarrassing.
