Once I went to sleep it was an ok night. Typical bathroom breaks. :-)
We had a great appointment at MFM yesterday. The Perinatologist used the P word.... Perfect! We've only heard that one other time this pregnancy. So grateful!
QOTD: my favorite lotion is by Aruba Aloe, but I don't use it everyday. I haven't found an everyday lotion I love.
Night was fine, DS decided he needed to sleep in our bed. I do not regret our King sized bed. Early in the evening I had a few contractions that made me think, "woah, this is it!" but it wasn't. ha. Turns out I have more contractions ON procardia than I have had OFF procardia. The past couple days have been pretty low key on the angry ute front.
NST and OB appt tomorrow. It's raining and gross here this morning, so I'm going back to bed!
We are going to church tonight. It's been SO long and I don't know that this really fits mod bed rest, but I'll have DH drop me off. I miss church and it's been over a month. I'm very excited!
My night wasn't bad. 21 weeks today! I have been having problems with going to bed late and waking up early so I'm not getting as much sleep as I am used to.
My usual sleeping patterns sleep all afternoon and up all night.. hey it works for me:)
I had some friends come over yesterday they brought me a Cuban sandwich.. Yummy.. I am currently watching last nights epi so you think you can dance.
25wks today I was having a little anxiety today thinking about the baby being here soon and I am not ready at all. I don't have anything. I am going to talk to the hubby about working more hrs so we can afford the basics. I am such a worry freak :-/
Qotd: I like anything that's fruity and greasy normally from Victoria secret or bath and body works..
Last night was uneventful and the norm. I have a friend coming by at 10:30 and I'm super excited, although she is coming when I usually take my nap to make up for the lack of sleep, so I hope I don't yawn too much.
QOTD: I don't use lotion hardly at all because I'm just too lazy, so no favorite here. I grab whatever is in my closet that had been given to me and slather it on my legs when needed, and I have about 10different kinds (probably because I rarely use them).

I slept like a prego lol! Couldn't fall asleep and then got up early.
32 weeks today!!! I can't believe we have made it this far. It feels like years since week 19, when I started bed rest. We're so grateful and humbled to be at this point!
My favorite lotions for pregnancy have been Bio Oil and Palmers Cocoa Butter. But for non pregnancy skin I have always loved the vanilla sugar body lotion from bath and body works. I can't use it now because it makes me want cookies so badly, but I can't eat them lol.
Update: 26w1d I slept ok. It took an hour and a half last night to do my NST testing bc my babies would not stay on the monitors. We had our bi-weekly u/s yesterday afternoon. Good news: Babies are doing great at 2 lbs 3 oz and 2 lbs which is 70th and 50th percentile. (I know that the u/s weights aren't accurate but knowing they are growing is great). Baby girl even has hair!!! Bad news: My cervix went from 1.2 to .8. Structurally, it is high and tight, but just so stretched. MFM and OB said there is no way that I am leaving the hospital before 32 weeks now. I actually feel ok with this. Trying to get to my smaller milestone of 28 weeks right now.
Congrats to all the fantastic milestones!!!! Rnlb - 21 weeks! Kneenah - 25 weeks! Wallace - 31 weeks! JLM - 32 weeks! You ladies really inspire me to get to my milestones too! It can be done!
QOTD: I use Aveeno. I don't like lotions with scents. I actually don't use anything with scents because they can trigger migraines for me.

Everyone is making progress and that's such great news!!! Way to stay put babies!!!
Rough day yesterday, babies HB was all over the place and I panicked and cried and just kept saying she isnt coming out today. It was my mantra to get me thru the bad....but ended on a positive and slept decent.
Anxiously awaiting Friday to hit 28 weeks. Don't think I will feel relieved at all but it's a milestone.
Another great milestone day! Congrats all!
I had another appt yesterday. No change in cervix (2.01). Bed rest ordered for duration. Told work and opened s/t disability claim. Feel better because job is safe and I actually slept better. Now to learn how to navigate BR.
QOTB-Also Aruba Aloe. I love After Sun Repair.

Since yesterday I have such awful pain in my pelvic area like I have been kicked by a horse. It used to only hurt at night when getting up and down for the bathroom but now its all day long. And its like my bones are constantly aching down there. Of course I forgot to mention this to the ob yesterday when she called. Is this normal to feel? Ill be 31 wks with twins on friday. I feel this dull ache constantly now and when I get up it feels like a severe pulling ripping pain. When I got up this morning one of my bones made a huge popping sound.
I slept terrible last night. My hips and shoulders are really hurting bad. At least I have all day to rest if I need to.
I called my dr today because I have had a big increase in discharge. It is watery, and it has been making me nervous. I haven't heard back yet. I hope I am just being paranoid.
QOTD: Burt's bees mama bee belly butter is what I use now. I like how thick it is and the smell.
35 weeks today!!! Yay!!!!

Yay 35 weeks!
I had the change in discharge/water issues. ugh. The thought of fluid leaking freaks me out!
kneenah1231, I know just what you mean! That nesting impulse comes from the cavewoman part of my brain, and it isn't wanting to get the nursery ready, it's NEEDING to...
We had a crazy night--contractions kept getting closer together even though I was lying down (I'm 32 wks). The midwife ended up having us come in to the hospital for that swab thing, but it was negative, hurrah. Basically it meant that we were out until midnight, which is, like, the latest and most eventful night out that the husby and I have had since bedrest started! I slept until 10 this morning--I don't think I've slept that much in months!
Hey ladies! We were up super early again! My MIL has my munchkins at her house for the day so I'm thinking of taking a nap. I had my glucose testing and Rhogam injection today.
It's been a little harder today, keeping track of my contractions since I was up and about. My belly always feels tight when I'm standing/walking! LOL
Congratulations to everyone on their milestones!! YAY!!!
Slept poorly, but early Specialist appt. was good news. Cervix and fluids are still stable. Only downside was that this Dr. Does not think I'll be allowed to return to work. I love teaching and it is a hard hit financially, but we will survive!
Bath and Bodyworks Vanilla Noel. Can't wait til Christmas to break it out again!
I am currently 23w4d with b/g twins and 2 weeks on BR. Last night was great sleep wise, i have been able to sleep almost through the night without getting up to pee BUT I had a major freak out/break down when I was getting ready to sleep.
I was having a pity party all evening after fighting with my 11 yr old DD and told DH that once these guys are out and healthy I quit, I am not made to be a mom!
Tried to get comfy in bed and prop my belly with a pillow so when I lay on my side there is less pulling and pain and I just couldn't! I told DH I didn't want to be pregnant anymore and immediately felt horrible because I should be wanting to be pregnant for as long as possible to keep our babies in and growing! He tried to calm me down but I had a cry fest for about 30 minutes, I just felt so horrible.
Have a perinatology follow-up tomorrow and meet with my new OB for the first time! Fingers crossed for good news or at least no changes.
QOTD: Not a lotion girl...have tons but to lazy to use it!
I'm sorry you had such a bad night @aug262006bride Just keep focusing on the end. The time will pass, and you will feel so happy and accomplished once it is over.
