Birth Story: Birth Center/Water Labor/Birth After Trauma/Pro Photographer

My little guy turns one today, and I am feeling sentimental about his awesome natural birth at a freestanding birth center run by CPMs. It was a very healing birth after a traumatic first birth. (2.5 years later and I am still working on that birth story.) Anyway, feel free to check it out. There is a slide show at the end with loads of pictures taken by a birth photographer. (Only the modest ones are online.) We were her first birth ever!  Anyway, I wanted to share my happy birthing day joy with folks who would "get it". :)

    What a beautiful story.  Your MWs and the birth center sound amazing.  I love that you were so supported and encouraged throughout your birth.  Congrats!

    Congrats! I toured that birth center when I was pregnant with DD, it's a beautiful place. Very calming.
