Ever have one of those weeks where you have way too much work to do at work and way too much stuff to do at home and you don't have enough time to even do the stuff to get by???
That's me this week. And I'm not even talking about the cleaning, the cooking and the working out! I am skipping all of that just to get by this week. Planned on taking a lot of work home these next few weeks but then having a ton of home stuff that needs to be done pop up is really throwing me off. The worst part is DH is working a ton right now too.
It's like both jobs and the house stuff all just blew up this week! Gah!
I guess I will be sleeping less. Which, i wasnt sleeping a whole lot to begin with since DS2 is still up 3 to 4 times a night. I can sleep when I am old right???
Advice? Sympathy? Cocktails?? Cheese for my whine?
Is it Friday yet??
Re: Not enough hours in the day
I feel like I constantly give up sleep to accomplish everything I have to do. I only have one child, so I feel for you!
I do take work home, and do some of it at night. I work out on my treadmill or during lunch a lot to keep myself fit and relieve stress. We have a cleaning service. I do laundry every single night to keep the loads small. We also have a landscaper come in and take care of the lawn. Oh and I don't cook much during the week. :-)
This way we can spend our time off having fun as a family instead of doing chores. I'm sadly never really rested though.
He has a fever and is feeling a little crummy. Well, all that home stuff will get done I guess while I am home with him today!
At least I will get those snuggles in. Poor little guy.
I don't have the type of job where I have to bring work home, but things at home do sometimes seem like a lot all at once, and I just tell myself "this will not get done today, but it will get done." I make every effort possible not to over crowd my schedule when I'm at home. Oh, and I found out that getting enough sleep helps tremendously---something I choose not to put off.
I hope it gets better soon!!
