My yearlong subscription is about to end and I'm so sad about that

We got the subscription as a gift and it was honestly awesome. Each month, the contents of the box are such a great surprise and yes everything is super high-quality, trendy, organic, etc. There tends to be a good mixture of practical (high spf sunhat in june) and fun (Melissa & Doug wooden toys). They also give a lot of edibles (happy baby rice cakes) and skincare items (honest co. body wash). And there is also usually an item just for the mom, which is a nice touch (hemp lip balm, salted caramel popcorn, etc.) Citrus Lane has introduced me to a lot of a great brands, but the reason that I'm not going to pay to renew my subscription is because most of the items are extras, not necessities, so it would be hard for me to justify the expense. But if I had the extra dough lying around, totally!

Does anyone know how Citrus Lane compares to the Bluum boxes? I had a gift subscription for Bluum that ran out but I loved them.

I love the new trend for box subscriptions. We get BarkBox for our dogs and I want to try Gfreely (a gluten free sampler box).

I personally didn't like it. I could get just as good items at discount places like tjmaxx and marshalls. I do however LOVE birchbox, a makeup subscription box.

I googled both and found blogs where Moms reviewed both boxes, I noticed Citrus ane was more popular.

I will let everyone know what I think of the boxes, our subscription starts at the end of the month. Love the tip about TJ Maxx, I always forget to make a trip there. Also the review for Birch Box was much needed, thinking of gifting my sisters with a subscription for Christmas.

Also If you google discounts for Citrus Lane there are a ton of 50% codes if you want to try a month at half off. That is what some friends did.

I was also given a link that gives and I a ten dollar credit if anyone wants it.
