Motivated Mamas: come on in

yesterday I posted about my motivation to get in shape.. a few people seemed to be on the same page....so here is our spot to rev each other up to get on gittin with the program

  • I am admittedly on day 2 BUT have been actively making choices based on my desire to lose weight
  • Cucumber water jug vs. soda or coffee
  • tuna and spinach o hummus a turkey vs. burgers or chicken patties
  • walking vs. couch sitting

no scale in this house so I am just going on how I feel rather that numbers

  • I walked today for the first time since summer started. I live in FL so its super humid and 95. But tonight it was overcast and breezy, Perfect! Also trying to be more conscious of food and snacks, well what i can force down. Being KTFU doesn't make me very hungry. :(

  • I am using my fitness pal to log calories eaten and burned. Doing pretty well so far, have logged in for 30 days straight, so that's something. I am finding that alcohol calories are killing my calorie goal so I need to work on that. My motivation to exercise has gone way way down...i was thinking of making a deal with myself that I can't have an alcoholic beverage for the day if I don't exercise. No exercise, no booze. I promise I am not an alcoholic...just like to have a beer or two or some wine in the evenings. That's it for now...

    Maybe we could start a Monday check in where we list our goals for the week and say if we met the week before goals? Just an idea :)
