safe to sleep on stomach now?

My baby boy is turning 4 months old next week. He just learned to roll from back to stomach. He now rolls all the time, which I am so proud of him!!!! My q is...is it safe for him to sleep on his stomach at night now? As soon as I lay him in his crib, he rolls to belly. He can't get back to his back quite yet...but seems to want to be on his stomach. Is this safe for him to sleep on his stomach now or should I roll him once he falls into deeper sleep???

My pedi said if he can to there by himself, then hes fine. That seems to be the general consensus

My son started this 4 weeks ago.. I was told as long as you lay him down on his back your fine.. If he rolls then don't bother moving him
