Tervis cup at hospital?

This may be considered a "stupid" question/post to some, but for those of you that know and understand the awesomeness of these kick ass cups, would you pack and bring a Tervis cup from home?? I use one every day and I know the hospital gives you a tiny cup to use... I am seriously thinking about packing one I mine but I'm not 100% sure bout it... Would you bring yours??

I packed a cheap knock off version. If I leave it I won't care and if I remember it then I can use it at home!

OK I just googled it. My hospital actually has awesome cups that are huge and have a lid and a bendy straw... very convenient to drink out of when you're not completely upright. I would say bring it if you want, but you might find the hospital cup easier to use.

It's a special cup that doesn't sweat at all and keeps your drink hot or cold and holds ice longer than normal cups.

When my sister had her baby last November the cup they have her was small like a child's cup... It sucked

This is what I would say. Our hospital's cups are huge! If I bring one from home, the hospital staff won't refill it for me. (They aren't allowed to take a patient's property out of their room, so the best I would get is room tap water. Blech. I definitely prefer the cold, filtered water they bring me.)

I do love my tervis, but love my contigo water bottle more. I took it last time and will take it again this time. I say bring the tervis and get the top and straw to go with it if you don't have it already.

I don't think I have ever used it without the lid and a bendy straw lol

My hospital also uses like huge cups with lids and bendy straws. Truth be told, I brought mine home and used it for a while. I agree with the PPs who said pack light. I know how much people love their Tervis stuff...would hate to see something get left/taken/cleaned accidentally.

I use mine daily but our hospital has huge cups so I'm not bring mine but if they used small cups I would pack mine

We are a tervis family as well. I got one of those awesome strawed hospital cups. But if I didn't I would have definitely wanted my Tervis. Pack it anyway is my vote.

I don't go anywhere without mine so it's definitely coming with me. I don't care if the hospital has big or little cups, my Tervis is will be right by my side. I'm sure DH will have his as well!
