Mesh Bumpers

any opinion on mesh bumpers for crib?

Re: Mesh Bumpers

  • I say if you need them, use them. If baby is constantly getting limbs stuck through the crib slats and waking up crying, go for it. We don't have that problem so we don't use them.

  • We started to use one. LO does a lot of rolling around in his crib at night and usually I find him asleep right up against the rails. So, we've added the bumper to avoid getting any tiny limbs stuck between slats, or bumping his head on the wood.

  • I posted about this awhile back too when LO woke up screaming because his foot was caught. We researched and found breathable baby bumpers on amazon and they have been wonderful! Good luck!

  • We use them. I woke up to her banging her head on the side of the crib one day and screaming so I was happy we had them there.

I might have to get some for James.  I kind of scoffed back before we all had our babies when people said "what if his limbs get stuck!"  but I am eating my words / laughter because seriously he's woken himself up about a dozen times in the past two weeks by flailing and twisting and turning.  Sometimes when I go in to get him ,he's done a full 180 and his head is where his legs started out!
