Freezing milk

Can I put refrigerated BM in the freezer? And can I put it in ice cube trays? If so, does it need to be covered?

    I always put milk from the fridge in the freezer. Most of the time I don't have enoughmilk to fill a freezer bag until I pump twice and I want both to be the same temp. I wouldn't put millk into ice trays, especially not covered. Why do you want to? They make super handy bags that can freeze flat and have been sanitized.

    They also sell breast milk trays which have covers. I've seen them at BRU.

    BM is good in the fridge for 3-5 days, but I usually immediately freeze whatever I don't plan on using right away.

    I've seen it as a suggestion but maybe it was for baby purées.

    I will check it out! The bags can be awkward when thawed and transferred into a bottle. :)
