Single Parents

single mom thoughts

Being a single mom i dont feel like i have the luxury to be sad, or tired.

I have things to do. I have laundry towash a newborn to nurse, a home to clean food to cook. I dont have time to be sad.

This occured to me when i found out i cant see bf this weekend like planned because his supervisor didnt turn in his paperwork approving his time off for the weekend. Bf doesnt normally work weekends but he has had to work over time the last two weeks because his super screwed up an order.

Anyways. I got to be sad for a second before ds needed feeding and changing

  • Sorry to hear things didn't go as planned. Just remember to look at your precious baby and he'll make you smile, I'm sure. Hopefully your bf can come see you and spend time with you both soon.

  • I'm in the same boat. But sometimes you can get a baby sitter, friend or family to look after LO for awhile. It would make you much more happier for sure. Keep your head up xx

  • Family is great about hanging out with him so i can shower. Plus my family will be watching him when i return to school in october.

I feel so whiny saying this, but i just want to get out, ive been at home with my newborn for two weeks.
