Pregnant?

Hey all-
I was just realizing for the millionth time that I have no mamma friends in this still newer to us town that have a baby the same age as mine. And I realized there's always the birth month page! I don't know many of you because when I was pregnant, I was on the April page (April 15 due) but had my DS March 31! 5 months in, we moved and I lost my mom friends - especially my neighbor who was also a first time mom with her boy only a week and 1/2 older than mine

But you pick up and go because thats what you do. (thanks for listening)

Anyway. DH and I are thinking about getting pregnant again. Anyone else have this discussion? Who's pregnant already? Anyone else trying soon? Just wondering what others are doing and how you are feeling about the whole thing with a toddler.

Hello, and welcome to the board. My dd is just a few days older than your LO. Kalesay was born on March 28th. I hate that you had to move but hope you are happy with where you're at.

My dh and I have been trying for number 2. This was my first month on Chlomid, and I have my blood draw set up for the end of the month, so I have my fingers crossed. I'm not going to lie somedays I am a hundred percent sure I'm ready for another one, then somedays I'm scared to death that I'm not ready. Guess it will take me just getting pregnant to convince me.

I have a five month old already! Mine are 11 months apart. Once you get into a routine, you'll do fine. Good luck!

DH is ready for another but I'm pretty sure I'm one and done. My pregnancy and following problems were too much for me.

My DD was born 3/28/12. We started trying again in March and got our BFP on Saturday (although we had recently talked about waiting till next January... guess we were ready). So far (only a few weeks in) I'm good but very tired so it's been touch with the farm and a very active little girl. DH knows there'll be slack for him to pick up, though, so I'm hopeful! My EDD is 3/30/14.

DS was born 3/18/12 and DD will be here in about 3 weeks. We knew we wanted ours to be close in age since we are only having 2. Guess we will see how things change in a few weeks. 2u2 here I come!!

DS was born 3/20/12 and we are expecting another LO on 2/20/14. DS will be one month shy of being two and while I am at times nervous I am really excited for the new adventure. For the past three weeks I have been really tired and nauseous, although the past two days my symptoms have been getting better. I am grateful that my husband has been so hands-on with DS from the beginning and the last few weeks he has really been helpful (letting me nap, preparing meals, and running errands). Good luck with what ever you decide to do:)

I'm currently 10 weeks 3 days. My DD was born on the 30th. This pregnancy was a complete surprise. I had actually signed the consent form to get my tubes tied and found out 5 days later I was prego! It will be our 6th.

I'm 11 weeks 4 days pregnant with #2. We just moved last month, so I know how you feel about losing friends. Hopefully we both find some new friends soon!

How am I feeling with the whole thing and a toddler? Exhausted. DD did not transition well and got a virus two weeks ago, so there has been very little sleep. Other than that, we are very excited. I'm glad they will be so close in age!

I have an eight week old! My DD was born March 12, 2012. DS was born May 25, 2013. I actually seemed to have a much easier pregnancy this time. I was not near as sick or exhausted. I was super worried about that since I had DD to chase after.

HI and welcome!

I am 5 months pregnant right now

DS is 16 months. The only reason why I am having a hard time is because this pregnancy is so different from my first. I had an overall pretty pregnancy with DS, until the end. This time, I have had morning sickness since day one and I still have it. I feel like I have every symptom imaginable. We made some big changes, DH new job, sleep training DS past couple months so it's been rough.

BUT I do have to say I am so excited for DS to have little brother or sister. I know it will be hard in the beginning but everyone tells me, once you get a routine down with both kids, it gets easier.

I am hoping for a smoother pregnancy going forward, but I am excited for the kids to be close in age.

I'm 8 wks and starting to lurk on The Bump again. My little one is 16mths and he keeps us busy. I feel like an old pro at this eventho I only have one, well more like I just feel old!

Welcome to the board! I hope you find some IRL mom friends soon. I am not even close to ready to get pregnant again, in fact I may be one and done. I love my sweet DS but he is a lot of work and I can't imagine having a toddler and an infant! GL TTC!

I am totally getting baby fever. I even had a dream last night that I was pregnant. I woke up suddenly and was sad that I wasn't. We were suppose to start trying this summer but have decided to wait until next summer. We still owe just under $3,000 on DD's birth and the rest of our financial situation is not good to bring another child into. DH should be getting a raise very soon and we can start paying things down faster. And pregnancy is rough on my body. And I'm really don't like the newborn phase.

My DH is very ready to start trying now. That's who I caught baby fever from. lol. But then I remind him that it is highly likely that I'll have bleeding issues again which will mean no sex for the whole pregnancy. He then happily reminds me to buy condoms. lol.

We are waiting longer for #3, but my two girls are 2 years apart -- born in March 2010 and March 2012. I actually did not mind the age gap at all. If we were ready financially we would be going for #3 with the same gap, but are holding off a little longer until we get some loans paid off. Our older DD adjusted much better than I would have thought to the baby and by the time she really got jealous, DD #2 was already old enough to fend for herself. They are 3 & 1 now and play together a lot.
