I was at the store getting gift wrap, candles, frosting, cake mix, etc for Sammy's birthday party this weekend.  And I thought, "I don't need to get him a card, he's 1".....but now I'm thinking, I should definitely get him a card and I can put it in his baby book.  How many of you are getting your LO's 1st birthday cards???

    I got DD a birthday card!

    I think I also got her a Christmas card too ... but I don't remember!  LOL!

    Reproductive Endocrinologist diagnosed us "Unexplained Infertility".
    After 3 years . . . 3 IUIs . . . and 3 IVFs . . . our miracle GIRL arrived on August 6, 2012.

    Got pregnant on our own without Fertility Treatments - January 2016!  Thank you snow storm Jonas!
    EDD 10/15/16
    At 20-week anatomy scan found IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction), and very low Amniotic Fluid.  Now, I'm High Risk and have weekly ultrasounds to monitor fluid and growth.  If baby runs out of room or is too growth restricted, they will deliver ASAP.  My current goal is to make it to 28 weeks!

    Good question.  I love to send cards for everything, but I hadn't thought about getting DD a card.
    BFP #1 9/2010 (lost our baby at 21 weeks) BFP #2 8/2011 (ectopic pregnancy) BFP #3 10/2011 (chemical pregnancy) BFP #4 12/2011 (Abigail born 8/15/12) BFP #5 5/2013 (Griffin born 1/23/14 with heart defects, now repaired!)

    Micah's bday was Friday, I didn't get him a card.  But I think getting one to put in his baby book is a great idea!  You could also write a special note for him to look back on.

    We did get a card for DD. DH and I both wrote separate messages inside for her to read when she's older.

    We didn't get her a card. I didn't really think about it and DH doesn't like cards (weird I know). I probably will save the ones everybody else got her though.

    I didn't get him a card. I'm going to get him a "Happy Birthday" book and have everyone write messages in it at his party. We'll write in that.

    DH is the same way. He's not a card person. But I love them and keep my cards. He knows that and always gets me one =) We'll get DD one and keep it.

    Yes, we will do a card. We've gotten him a lot of cards. ..Christmas, Valentines/heart day, easter, get well soon cards for hospitalizations, even a thank you card for inspiring us to participate in fundraising events for the hospital. So, yes, we'll do a birthday card too. I put them in a box with the other cards he gets.
