Coming out of lurking

I am technically an Oct 2012 mom (V born on Oct 26th) but I spent my entire pregnancy on Nov 2012 as V was technically due in the end of Nov. He was 5 weeks early because I developed preeclampsia.

While I was a scheduled c all along, he became an emergency c when I swelled terribly and my blood work numbers indicated kidney function decreasing.

V was in NICU for 8 days. A blessing in some ways as we live on Long Island and were affected by Hurricane Sandy. When he was finally released we spent 2 weeks house hopping staying with relatives who had power while we waited for ours to come back on.

I am a frequent participant over on Nov 2012 but I lurk here as V is really closer in age to your LO's. I will try to get over here a bit more. Hope I am welcome here too!
