DC Area Moms

We took Micah to Clemyjontri park for his bday on Friday.  This is the best park we've been too.  You should check it out!  It's huge and free!!  They had soo much for a 1 yr. old.  Don't want to sound like a commercial, I was just surprised that a park this big was actually free in this area!

Re: DC Area Moms

  • I actually responded to this in one of your other threads. It is an awesome park! When I worked we used to take field trips with our disabled wheel chair bound kids. I haven't been in a while.

The lady that donated the land had a vision of a playground that every child no matter the ability could play. She named it after her 4 children CLEMYJONTRI : Carolyn (CL), Emily (EMY), John (Jon), and Petrina (Tri).
Now I sound like an advertisement. Haha!

I'm about 35 minutes w/o traffic.  We rarely go to DC anymore.  Our good friends used to live on Capital Hill so we would always go to visit them.  They recently moved near the shops @ wisconsin place so now we really only go to that area.  You should go to Clemyjontri if you haven't been.  Your DS will love it!!

I'm also about that distance to DC. About 25 miles west of DC.
