leaky night time diapers...frustration! Help! (Repost from 0-3mo)

Hi ladies! My dd is only 2 months, but thought I would ask this question here also! :) Any suggestions for baby's leaky over night diaper problems? I tried going up at size at night (using Pampers Baby Dry), and she still leaked through by 3 am. Nothing like changing diaper/outfit/swaddle at 3 am. They don't make the overnight diapers until size 3, and she is only in a 1....and suggestions??

  • I had the same problem with pampers. Solved the problem by switching to huggies.

  • We tried huggies too, same problem. :(
  • We started using the Target brand diapers due to overnight leaks with Pampers.

The only diapers that don't leak for us at night have been Pampers Swaddlers. Huggies and Pampers Baby Dry leaked all the time!

This is us too. Huggies were awful both day and night, only swaddlers worked for us. The baby dry would leak weird gel stuff too which turned me off to those completely!

  • I hated Baby Dry - they gave DD a diaper rash.  I'm Pampers Swaddlers all the way (right now).  We are finishing up a box of size 2s during the daytime but I started using size 3s at night last week because she's sleeping so long and rolling over so I thought the extra coverage from the larger size would be best and the size 2s are getting a little small.

I know someone else who awears by 7th generation so I think it's to each their own.  Good luck!

  • We had the same problem with every brand/style except for Luvs and White Cloud of all things...now we use PX brand diapers. Every now and then we still have a leak, but not as often and they're much cheaper.
