I plan to toss the pee stick at him, then say "get used to getting pee on you because we're having a baby". LOL. Not really...I don't have any cute ideas, I'm just going to tell him.
For DS- jumped in bed while he was still sleeping and yelled "Guess what?"
For DD- I bought DS a big brother shirt. At least I was a little more creative and that's only because he was at work when I tested so I had to kill time.
Little Man (4 years old---holy cow) He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be. He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.
But seriously, I didn't really do anything too exciting. I would way rather watch the face of horror on DH's face every time he sees a child come out of my vagina.
I made a custom picture that is half pink half blue and says, "Stay Calm Because We're Going to Have a Baby!". My DH and I text each throughout the day so when I get a BFP I am going to text him the photo and wait for his reaction. He won't be interested in seeing my pee stick and just flat out telling him is too simple for me.
My husband's a doctor, so while we were trying to conceive, I ordered a onesie with a stethoscope on it. When I got a positive pregnancy test, I handed him a little gift bag with the onesie inside.
Me and DH have a code-word for babies... "ELF" (long story) Anyways, I found a clearance onesie last year from Target that said "cutest elf of all" (or something like that) and I'll give it to him after I find out. :-)
I ordered a newborn sized onesie on Etsy that says "Dad" inside a tattoo heart (that would work for either a boy or girl), that I'll give to DH... that's as long as I don't blurt it out the second I get a positive test!
I peed on the stick, went out the living room where he was stuffing his face with chips and salsa and watching tv, held up the stick and said, "guess what"

It was all very romantic
This made me giggle. That is probably how it will go for me as well.
I found a cute poem that I will probably be typing up to give to him in a card:
I once was just one, and then I found you.
Then I became we and we became two.
Nine months of waiting our we became three Such a great family were you, him, and me
Then he got taller, we wanted one more. . . Guess What!
Our We is soon to be FOUR!
This poem sort of reminds me of the wolfpack toast from the Hangover. LOL.

is it wrong when i read it after reading yours, i read it like Alan's voice LOL

I did this, except when he finally got out of bed he didn't remember. So I got to tell him twice.
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.
I saw this somewhere along the way and thought it was cute...
Since we live in a tight space, DH and I have talked about how to make room for a second. I plan to empty out a draw in his dresser and fill with diapers and baby items with a little note reading, "make room, daddy I'm moving in!"
I also will include a onesie that I bought on etsy, "this how I roll, just like my daddy". The onesie has a little fire truck on it-my DH is a firefighter. My DH and daughter always say, "this is how I roll" so I was excited to find a onesie that incorporated that.
I got way too excited and just showed him the Pregnancy test... but I wanted to go to the Dollar Store, buy a white plate, sharpie on the middle "We're pregnant", bake it at 350 to make the ink set... and then later on serve dinner on it and when he finished eating he'd be able to read it!
Hubby wasnt home yet when I found out so I took a t shirt and wrote "I cant wait to meet my dad in 9 months" and drew a heart over the belly. When he got home and got in the shower I put it on. He came out and was in total shock
My husband is a huge Redskins fan! I am on the hunt for a baby redskins onesie. I'm gonna give it to him with a card that says "another fan is joining the fam!" And maybe put the pee stick with it.
I want to do something more exciting than what I did for my first. I sent him a text saying I was pregnant, all while we were eating McDonalds.
Our DD is going to be batman for halloween this year, so I may take a picture of her and just create a sign that says, "Mommy told me I have a sidekick joining my team!"
DH is a huuge Batman fan. This is why I would do this.

This is super cute!
When it happens for us, I'm thinking of making a Build-A-Bear and buying a little shirt to go on it that says #1 Dad or something. Either that or buying a Heartbeat Bear and leaving it for him to find when he gets home from work. Not extraordinarily creative, but it'll be hard enough trying to not just blurt it out over the phone!
Re: Cute/Creative ways to tell your husband you are pregnant?
Etch something like, your going to be a father, at the bottom of a glass so he will see it as he finishes his drink. Or something similar.
Install a car seat into his car. Use your old one or get a cheap one at a mom to mom/ garage sale. Or do it with another baby thing.
Leave diapers, clothes, bottles, something like that around the house?
Tell him you have great news, pop open and serve him some wine but put orange juice in your champaign glass.
I'm not good with this idea, I have to a for gender reveal though lol. Good luck!
Mommy loves you Eevee!
