recent visit to the crayola experience in Easton?

I am seeing mixed reviews mainly due to crowds on the crayola experience. I always wanted to take the kids and now DD is crazy into drawing and coloring, i think the time is perfect. Any experience since the new renovations were completed? It's about 1hr 15 min drive so i want to make sure we're not setting ourselves up for complete meltdown. Planning to go on a day off tomorrow. Thanks!

    I know someone who went back in March/April with her husband and three kids (4, 2, and 10 months). She said it was nice. They went during the week on a Thursday. I imagine that this time of year it would be crowded with kids being out of school.

    It just reopned in May after a major renovation and it is awesome! If you can go during the week you will have less crowds. They have a digital drawing area where children's drawings are projected on a huge screen, very cool. DD can even label her own crayons! I love taking DS there, its worth the trip!
