S/O siblings and birth order

How does your birth order affect how you parent?

For all of you "youngest" children, how does it feel raising an "oldest/only" child?  

My entire childhood I was bossed around and I HATED it, so by nature I don't enjoy telling people what to do.  Now that I'm a parent of an "oldest" child I imagine having problems down the road enforcing discipline.  (My husband is an oldest and he feels just fine giving orders!)  Anyone else feeling like this?

    Funny, DH always complains how not everything has to be 100% equal between DD1 and DD2!  I'm just so conscious of it since I'm a twin.
