Oh Boy Ms. Diva

So Skye took a temper tantrum this weekend.  We were at Dena's (family name for grandma, my mother) and Skye was playing w/my water bottle, she kept trying to put it in her mouth and I kept taking it out,so i decided to take it away from her and she PITCHED A FIT.  She was screaming, hitting, and crying TEARS, tears I tell you.  Baby girl you are only 7mnths, where is this coming from, it's not going to be tolerated I can tell you. :)  Oh boy what do we have to look forward to in her teen years.

  • Bahaha!!! We have had similar moments. And my first thought is, "you are going to make a fantastic two year old"!!!

  • Killian did something like this last week too! Our nanny put up a baby-gate so he couldn't get into the dog food/water and he pitched a tantrum, throwing things (in general  & at her), screaming, crying, hitting himself & her when she tried to pick him up. 20 minutes later he was fine & ate his blueberries without a single sniffle.

  • I hear ya, we have a diva over here as well. When she doesn't get her way aka something she wants to eat, put in her mouth she screams. It's a mad scream, cry like why did u take that from me give it the f**k back!! Lol

  • It's a new phase! And isn't it fun?? It's even worse when they're tired huh? Alivia has started this if I take something out of her mouth that she's chewing on. They realize now that they want something and its being taken away. The only saving grace is that they are still easily distracted!

  • We're in that boat too! DD does not like to be told "no" or have something taken away. If you just tell her "no", she usually looks at you and laughs then goes back to what she was doing. If you take something away, unless you quickly find a way to distract her, she will pitch a fit. Ugh!
