Would this bother you or nbd?

BM has been taking SS to Dh's work like a lot but it's usually been times when hes not there. he works at this place pretty part time. Dh says his coworker will always say so and so was asking about you.

SS mentioned he and his mom tried to go to Dh's store the other day but it was too busy so they left.

Dh works at a chain retail. I said it was sad but nbd and Dh said he is completely creeped out.

Background is BM and Dh do not talk at all and I feel like Bm is a sociopath but not particularly intelligent or calculating she just lacks empathy for everything and everyone. I think she's simply trying to embarrass him or get him fired but Dh said he has a really bad feeling about it.

Any thoughts? Any experience with something similar?

    It would probably bug me, but what is there to do about it?

    I think that is creepy too!  Especially if your DH feels creeped out I would nip it in the bud.

    If DH feels uneasy then he needs to tell her to stop. He cannot make her stop going to the store but he can tell her to stop asking for him and if she is only going to see him and not to shop then that is stalking and if it continues he can go to the police. What type of store and town? If it is like the local specialty store she has no reason to go to then it is easier if it is Walmart in a small town.

    I would be creeped out too. When BM was over Saturday to visit with SD's, DH was working in the back and side yard and BM kept getting up and trying to follow him around. DH didn't notice until I showed him the video but it was really strange. SD's aren't allowed in the backyard right now because there are things laying out there that they could get hurt on, farm equipment, things like that. BM knew that and still kept trying.

    I'm sure if it is a small retail and BM is not going in to shop that it can be made that she not be able to go into that store.
