I'm hopping over here from july12 board. I am researching early potty training books and methods. Have any of y'all potty trained and if you have what method or book did you find helpful?

    Hi there! We have not started with potty training yet. 
    We might start to introduce the potty towards the end of the year, when all of our vacations are over and we are back on a regular schedule. I pinned a bunch of articles and one method that was recommended by some friends was the 3 day potty training: https://www.babycenter.com/0_potty-training-in-three-days-or-less_10310078.bc

    For us it is way too early for potty training.  We have introduced the potty and once in awhile he goes, but it is more for fun right now.  We did a similar method with my DD and I would say she was fully potty trained (night time included) by about 2 1/2 years.  We were really lucky with her and that as soon as she truly got potty training she got it completely and never had an accident during naptime or night time.  Very lucky with her as I hear nighttime can take longer.

    I'm on the same track as everyone else, it's just to early.  We will do the 3 day training though when we do it.

    I plan to buy a potty after we get back from vacation in Sept but will be very casual about it until after she turns 2.

    Thank y'all ! I needed to hear all this. There seems to be pressure around me to have her potty trained by 18 months and that's terrifying. I don't think she will be ready and now I think that's ok! I will read in to the 3 day thing a little more. I appreciate it.
