Painful Sex

Hello Ladies, I dont post too often, but had a questions for you.

The past 2 weeks, sex has been painful for me again. Not too sure why. I had some pretty bad tears after delivery, so DH and I were never really intimate until closer to 5 months post. Everything seemed to be going so smoothly, until these past few weeks. It just makes me cringe thinking about it. I will probably be making a phone call to my OB about this, but I just wanted to get opinions on this. Have any of you experienced this? It's so weird to me. For any of you that had a lot of stitches after delivery, it almost almost feels like they are being pulled out...but obviously they are not there anymore. Just bums me out. :(

    O.M.G!!!!  I literally was just about to post this.  Like, I just signed on to come in here and say the same!!!!!!  Ok, so I tore inside and had a few stitches, not sure how many.  But I've been experiencing that tightness you're talking about since the first time we did the dirty (I think 13-14 weeks post delivery).  I did talk to my gyno about it...she said sometimes there can be some type of scar tissue that causes that pain, but she didn't see that with me.  We chalked it up to my lack of sex drive, not being able to relax during sex and maybe a personal lubrication issue.  So she told me to try to make sexy time more relaxing and stress free and try some lubes.  A few months later and I'm still having the same issue. 

    Mine feels like stretching, but like the skin is tight and it's pulling at it, but not a ripping sensation or anything.  I'd definitely talk to your OB.  I have no solutions for you, but hopefully you get some answers.  I'm going to call my OB again too.

    This is mostly me too. I will say that I tried wearing a tampon yesterday and it was flat out painful, had to take it out. Not sure what's up with that. I haven't worn one in forever though so maybe that has something to do with it.

    I've been sore everything too, but after a while I don't notice it anymore. I had an episiotomy and had a ton of stitches. I'm not sure how many, but when she did the stitches she got done and they had her come back a few minutes later to do more stitches.

    It's still not comfortable for me either. Sometimes it just gets to the point where it hurts too much and we have to stop :(

    I feel bad for DH, but I don't know what's going on. Going to see my doctor in a few weeks and will definitely be asking.
