Babies on the Brain

Might be Pregnant

I had a biochemical miscarriage two months ago and I am so nervous to take a pregnancy test even though I missed my period 3 days so far. I can't get myself to take the test. What if I am not pregnant? Will I be disappointed if I am not?... I don't want to get my hopes up for a negative. How long should I wait. So far I have a pressure on the left side of my lower back and left ovary area. I had a stuffy nose, really bad gas over anything. No spotting yet. What should I do? How can I gain the strength to take a test?

Re: Might be Pregnant

  • I am doing yoga. I do no think I am obsessing. Just trying to get the courage to stay positive after my horrible experience, but thanks for your advice. I appreciate it.

  • I'm sorry for your loss. The only way to know is to take a test. If you are pregnant, I would call your dr to see how they want to treat you since you've had a m/c. Good luck.

  • Here is the thing- if you are pregnant you need to know, so you can start getting prenatal care.

    If you aren't - well you aren't.

I'm sorry for your loss and I understand how traumatic it is, I really do,  but if you think you are pregnant just bite the bullet and do it.

Stressing and over thinking isn't going to help.   Good luck to you

One CP does not alter routine pregnancy treatment. When she calls they won't have her come in for 1-2 months because there is absolutely no reason to be seen earlier.

OP based off your prior posts, you are 14 dpo. Take a test.

Good to know. Thanks for the info.

  • Thanks everyone for the encouragement and support. I will take a test today..thanks again.
  • I have had 3 losses. I fully understand the anticipation and fear that happens before you POAS. The thing is, you will feel better once you aren't in limbo anymore. Best of luck to you.
