Baby hiccups.

WHAT do they feel like?!

I have an AP...will that make it feel different?

I can't know for sure if LO had them a little while ago. It was almost like a quick pulsing and tapping at the same time...
Hard to explain I'm sure....
Do your best lol!

Re: Baby hiccups.

  • They kind of feel like when you have hiccups just much lower and faster.

  • Just a repetitive thump where baby is at that is too constant and steady to be baby just kicking around in there.  They normally only last for around 30 to 40 seconds when my LO has them, but he gets them all the time.

Yep, and are definitely rhythmic so you know it's not kicking. Hunter had them this morning, at 5am no less, and they lasted about 2 minutes. It's pretty funny to know he's in there hiccuping away.

  • My LO is hiccuping as we speak plus she is poking her head out. It's very quick just like regular hiccups.
  • They feel kinda like a muscle twitch to me, and very rhythmic.

  • Just like everyone else says, you will know the difference because it will feel like rhythmic kicks. My baby boy had them last week for the first time, and it took me a minute to figure out what was going on. It's pretty cute!

  • It's very rhythmic and it is very quick consecutive thumps. A muscle twitch as PP mentioned could be a good way to describe it too!

  • Haha.. with DS1 I would feel them a lot and most often in my butt. No joke. Weird sensation! U know they aren't kicks or anything because they're so rhythmic
