Stitches while on vacation

We should be in Disneyland right now but instead we're napping after a crazy morning. DS fell down and hit his head in the hotel room and got a big gash, smack dab in the middle of his forehead. It wasn't so deep that I immediately thought it would need stitches but I knew it would leave a big scar if something wasn't done.

We found an urgent care close by and the dr immediately said DS would need a few stitches.
Nothing harder on a mama than having her baby cry and scream all while being held down on the dreaded doctors table to get some stitches.

Sooo glad it's over now! Kinda put a dampner on our vacation but glad DS is ok and it wasn't worse.

    Oh no! Poor little guy. And poor mama, that must be so hard to watch. I hope he's feeling better soon and you can get back to your vacation. Hugs!!

    Your poor son!! I can't imagine especially while on vacation. But hopefully you all enjoyed yourself once you were out of there. Glad he's okay!

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    Agree with pp - poor mama and poor baby! So sorry that happened at all, especially on vacation. Hope you all can still enjoy your vacation! Disneyland is amazing!
    MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
    ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    Thanks for all the sweet thoughts ladies. We are home and DS is doing well. He has to have his stitches removed on Sunday which ill probably just do on my own. Until then it's covered, so I have yet to see how bad the scar will be. I'm hoping it'll heal nicely!

    FX it heals well. I don't know if you can use it on kids, but that scar gel worked wonders for me. If nothing else, chicks dig scars!
