Hello AF!!!!

I don't think I could be so happy to see AF!  I've been waiting and at 6 weeks 2 days after my procedure she has arrived.  Seems to be light, but the cramps are something pretty terrible.  I never really get cramps so it's different to me.  My doc said to try again after 2 months or 1 normal period.  I'm not so sure I'm ready to start trying again right now.  I REALLY want to, but I think it would be wise to wait until after my next AF, but then again I don't know.  What do you all think?  What are your plans?

    Yay! I am so happy to see this. I've been watching for this post. AF came for me yesterday. <:-P

    We are going to try again this cycle. So here's to hoping this is the last time I see AF or any bleeding, spotting, etc from the ole ute for a while.

    This pregnancy was a birth control pill baby, a total shock. Now the big question remains; what now? Do we carry on with our original plans: me going back to school, watching our 2 girls get older. Or do we try to get pregnant again knowing this same horrible thing could happen again. I was almost relieved when I found out last week that I was expecting because I thought, God decided my plans on a 3rd. I don't have to make that decision now. But now, baby is gone and what does that mean? Is this a lesson or God telling me I shouldn't have put off having a 3rd and to try now. I will be 34 next Friday and my kids are 7 and 9. DH doesn't want to talk, he's still too upset. I wish he had an opinion, it would really help. I know it's early and I shouldn't be in a rush, but I can't help but wonder why this happened.

    Congrats!!! My H and I are going to start trying again as soon as we can. He's 41 so we don't want to wait too long to have our kids. As hard as this is to go through, we still want to start trying as soon as possible.  
    We also read a lot of articles on trying and getting pregnant again within 6 months of your MC that your chances are reduced by 33% for having another on your next pregnancy.

    E&B - yay!!!  Good luck with this cycle - keep me updated!! :)  I'm leaning towards trying this cycle because my fertile time would be exactly 2 months post surgery.  My DH is not so sure though...

    Memc- It's hard when DH doesn't have an opinion.  I'm sorry this happened to you

    Storms - good luck to you as well!  My doc said it's unlikely it would happen again on your next pregnancy, however that it does happen and happens frequently.  Soooo helpful- right?  Either way, I'm going to be a nervous wreck whenever my time comes again.

    Hooray!!!  @Kinipela7!!!  ((Hugs)).  Once mine shows up, it's game on for TTC again for us.  GL with what you and DH decide :).  Very, very happy AF showed up, though!!

    Yay for you!  I go back and forth.  TTC was really hard for me even before my CP.  Seeing AF every month sucked.  DH doesn't want to prevent but doesn't want to actively try either.  I know that even if I don't chart I'll still be counting my cycle days and driving myself crazy.  I might need a TTA break.  Then again, I really do want a family.

    Thank you guys!  I think we are going to start right away.  I won't be charting or anything yet (never did that before either) because I think it would seriously stress me out.  I'm comfortable with our decision.  I would hate to wait and then all this happen all over again.  I had this thing my whole life where I wanted a baby by the time I was 30 and I'm probably not going to make it since that happens next July!

    Congrats!

    We were told to wait six months before trying so I could fully recover.  That takes us to Christmas time.  We'll probably wait a little bit longer than that as we want to go on vacation during H's spring break in February.

    We're planning on trying again after my first post MC AF. Our loss was at a little over 4 weeks. This is the fist time in my life that I'm excited for AF to be here! Good luck!

    yayy! congrats to both of you. It's so ironic to dread AF for so long, and then be excited to see her :)

    Congrats on getting your first AF!!  I remember how anxiously I awaited mine... then wanted it gone ASAP!  It's always good to know your body is "getting back on track" so to speak though.  So sorry for your loss.  Good luck to you!
