Can anybody recommend some movies that are appropriate for all ages including toddlers, but still fun for the parents to watch? Movies are always very hard to pick out at our house since my kids are 12, 10, 8, 4, and 2 and have different interests.
We have been doing Pixar movies--but we only have a 2 year old. We have done Nemo, Toy Story 2, Incredibles (if you didn't see that one---it is one of my favorites and definitely good for a lot of ranges), Monsters Inc.
We also watched the Disney Peter Pan---because she is big into pirates.
Curious George movie, Tinkerbell, Wall E, Cars, or Tangled...those were the ones we started with because they have little to no scare factor. You forget as an adult how dramatic some of the Disney films are!
DS is five and adores Peter Pan, as he is really into pirates. I have to re-try Robin Hood.
My 2 yo loves Star Wars (thank you, Angry Birds). Try some musicals-that way the younger ones can dance. Rodger and Hamersteins Cinderella, Sound of Music... I think older movies will be your best bet.
My kids love monsters Inc, all the ice age movies, tinkerbell, up, meet the Robinson's, mega mind, all the shrek movies, all toy stories, the lorax, Horton hears a who.
