  Ignore them! It's a lovely, legit name that will be sweet as a child and age well into adulthood. And yeah, I am not a fan of your coworkers' "naming style" lol. Just another reason to shrug them off!

  To piggyback on what PPs said, I would actually take it as a compliment that they don't like your name choices. I think you should worry if they do.

  You should ignore them, but personally I'd spell it Madeleine or Madelyn if you want it pronounced mada-lynn. Madeline has a "line" sound, like lion.
