Blood clot at 32 weeks

I just passed a blood clot and I am 32 weeks pregnant.  Called the doctor and am anxiously awaiting a call back.  Has this happened to anyone else? Obviously it has me worried, but I am a FTM so don't know how irrational my fears are.

    Hopefully they call soon! It was probably some kind of cervix irritation but obviously you should wait to talk to the doc.

    I'm curious too, hope everything turned out all right. Any sort of blood is always scary during pregnancy.

    Hanging out in the hospital for now. My doctor had cell phone problems and felt horrible about getting back to me so late. I am having contractions so they are trying to get that under control. Worst case scenario they will have to deliver the baby but it sounds more likely that I will be put on bed rest. Either way they gave me a shot that is supposed to help with the baby's lung development. Thanks for your thoughts. It's been scary but feeling optimistic.

    Thinking of you and hope everything goes okay. I hope they're able to get the contractions to stop. The steroid shots are a good idea (but they are literally a pain in the butt). Good luck!

    Oh no!  T&Ps for you and baby.  It's great that you're getting the steroids.  Hopefully LO hangs in there for another day or two.
