Once the crib was assembled I realized we made a mistake by picking a wood colour similar to the wall colour. Now I don't know what to do to liven it up. Any idea? Colourful elephant wall decals? A more colourful mobile? Or do I just re-paint?
(The dresser is the same colour as the crib and the glider is white).
TIA?

Can you switch crib & Dresser so that the crib & bedding patterns don't compete with the bookshelf?
For walls, if the current set up is the only option I think you can make it work, you just need to define each items space in the room. So instead if it being a row of furniture in the wall, either add something big centered over the two pieces, like an alphabet collage, monogram, or giant tree decal between the crib & dresser. Then something on a smaller scale by the tree, like the elephant decals. Not sure on space by the tree and the next wall to the left of the tree, but an elephant decal (it sounds like a theme you like) could wrap a corner, or use an exacto knife to make it look like an elephant is coming from behind the moulding if there is a doorway.
I think adding in elements proportionate to the three big pieces will help more than say, a row of 3 8x10 art prints on your main wall. Also thinks to bring your eyes up & down the wall since the heavy furniture is all at the waist/ below.
Great start!! Loving the colors!!
