PG brain equals stupid rinse question

DH offered to do the cloth diaper laundry for me tomorrow, since, I haven't been feeling well. Problem is I am drawing a blank on the first rinsing part of my routine.

Cold rinse/high spin or cold rinse/no spin? He asked about rinsing urine completely out versus adding water weight to trick the machine. I honestly couldn't answer him, and now I'm questioning myself. I've been cloth diapering for awhile now without issue, but can't remember what has been working for me.

Help an under the weather pregnant lady out. TIA!

    I do cold rinse with regular spin. But I know several ladies who don't spin. I don't think it's definitively either or. But personally I spin. Fwiw I have a HEFL.

    I rinse with a regular spin. I have a regular top-loader machine.

    We do warm rinse and no spin. We used to do cold but had better ability to remove waste with the warm temp. We have a FLer and the no spin helps weigh the drum down for the heavy wash.

    I do warm rinse with a spin so it gets the yucky water out. I have an HE FL with a Water Plus option that seems to do fine with adding enough water to get the diapers clean.

    I didn't even know that some had the option of spin vs. no spin, lol.  Shows you how "fancy" my washing machine is.... I do cold rinse with spin first.
