implantation bleeding?

I had light spotting for 5 days around the time my period was due. normally i have 22 to 24 day cycles. i had light cramping that came and went before the spotting started and during the first few days of spotting. a couple of times the cramping got worse and i thought for sure af was here. spotting and cramping are totally gone and i'm on day 30. scared to take a hpt because i don't want a bfn...ttc for past 8 months anybody have a similar experience with bfn or bfp? i have no pregnancy symptoms but have never skipped a period either. thanks for your input! :)

    Spotting is pretty normal whether or not you are pregnant. Unless you were charting your temp, you don't know that you are actually late. Just take the test. 
    Word. No one skips a period, you either O'ed later than you expected and thus your period comes later than expected, or your pregnant.

    With DS, I only got implantation spotting in combination with swollen breasts and morning sickness.  Based on my knowledge alone, I'm going to go with probably not.  But who knows. Run to Wal-Mart and buy a pee stick!

    My cycle last month was 35 days, and I am usually 28-30. I also had spotting and cramping that started on day 25, thought it was implantation bleeding but it obviously wasn't. I wasted a lot of money on hpts.. but anyway, you are probably just having a longer cycle this month. It happens, even if your cycles are always a certain number of days, one month it could totally change. Wait until you get your period or take an hpt, if it's negative wait another week.

    I'll give you my experience with what I think was implantation bleeding.  I had very slight brown spotting on 10 DPO when I got pregnant with my 2nd son.  I had a positive HPT 2 days later.  The spotting was def. brown and only happened once.  I don't know if it really was implantation spotting, but it was spotting anyway.

    I had basically the same thing my last pregnancy. The day after I got my BFP I started spotting brown. I wasn't charting but I was prob around 9dpo. I went to the dr he examined me saw a little brown and said it was prob just implantation spotting.

    Fucking bump!!!!

    POAS. And if you're not KU, start charting next cycle so that you won't have to ask this again. You'll feel a lot better when you actually know what's going on with your body.
