When to take out padding in diono radian?

Not the headrest but the side padding piece. When did you stop using it? I can't decide if it seems like its comfy still or smooshing them :)

    I took it out around 15 mos. dd is around 25th percentile.

    My DD is 18 and we still use the seat padding, however she is very thin. I can already see that it's not going to be comfortable for much longer!

    Around a year. S was a chunk and it made it too tight.

    We took ours out about a month ago - DD was 14 months - because she had a blowout diaper and just never put it back in. She's still comfy and snug so I figured why bother!
    Due 3.27.14 (lame because I cannot figure out how to save a fun ticker.....)
