Um, what?! Can you ask the docs to send in an appeal? That is outright ridiculous. I'm all for the provision in ObamaCare that states that insurance cannot deny or raise premiums based on health issues, but they should not be able to deny hospital stays (or ambulance transports, or chemotherapies,... there is a whole list of things!!)
I am sorry to hear this. What a headache! Seriously, I would ask the doctors to talk or send in a letter. Insurance generally don't give a sh*t about what doctors say BUT sometimes, the appeal is successful. Good luck and keep us updated!
Always appeal. They often say no the first time, an appeal will get you to someone who can make a decision. The first guy just had a rubber stamp that says denied.
Hey I just met you, and you're my baby. This is your family, we're kind of crazy...
Check why they denied it. My spinal block was denied at first when I had csection. I called and asked why and after some research they realized it was coded wrong

I will or my husband will.
