These are most likely BH...please drink a shit ton of water, relax and lie on your left side. Please stop freaking out people. Completely normal. If for some reason you are bleeding, water breaks, or they do not subside, THEN call your Dr.
It's just been one post after the other lately. No one is scrolling through. It's GD all over again....which means....I see GIFs in the future!!!
You're right, and it's just going to keep cycling with more and more topics (mucous plugs, am I in labor, I'm "x" cm and "%" effaced what does that mean)...Hey, any reason for a GIF party is ok in my eyes.
I think it's safe to say that all the FTMs here are going to be nervous about things that turn out to be nothing, and all the S+TMs are going to roll their eyes at us if we ask about it here. Some people will post here anyway and the rest of us will find someone else to ask. It would likely be pretty difficult to find a FTM who shrugs off menstrual-like cramps in her belly, whether or not they turn out to be no big deal in the end.

All minus one.
Exception the the rule, here.
Me too Wel. My mom used to get onto me because she said I was too laid back while pregnant.
When I was a FTM, I actually did have PTL and I knew it was much more than the normal, BH cramping I had been having previously. It was menstrual cramps like I never had before, and I felt the urge to stand up and move my hips. I didn't want to lie down, I didn't need to rest, I needed to move. They are very different sensations.
I always think that doctors and hospitals probably make lots of money off these false alarms so they're probably not too upset when you call. That's an easy couple hundred from the insurance company.

PGAL ladies excluded as always, but I'm glad I was never such a spaz about everything the first time I was pregnant. It seems exhausting.
Exactly. I'm PgAL, so I think it's best to err on the side of caution. I realize that a majority of the time, everything is fine. But once you've been on the shitty side of statistics, your perspective is skewed.
I'm PGAL and I started this damn thread. Still drives me nuts!

Maybe I should have clarified. I had a late loss, 4 days before my EDD. I had been diagnosed with an irritable uterus, and had been doing NST's twice a week from 34 weeks on. I was having what I assume we're BH's the night my daughter passed away. I will always live with the thoughts of what could have been if I had gone to L&D that night instead of waiting for my NST the following Monday. That's why this is somewhat of a sensitive subject for me.
Re: PSA: Cramps
something wrong?? Am i in labor??' Freak outs.
