ball of nerves UPDATE

I called the OB for the results of the harmony test and she said they got it back this morning and are waiting for the assistant to read it. Said it might not be till Monday. I know they have a bunch of other patients but, the waiting is too much. I'm almost in tears afraid I am going to be told something is wrong with Bean. After losing our baby boy 2 years ago I have been hurting so bad. I dont care what the sex is. Just that he/she is very healthy. Update: The nurse called me back. Everything came back negative! I cried tears of joy. She said they didn't test for sex so we will have to wait till our 19 week u/s. Fine by me! Bean is ok!

    Aw sorry you're dealing with this love! Try to take a deep breath and relax if you can. I know that not knowing is hard and I think if I were you I'd call back after lunch and at the end of the day because I'm obnoxious like that. If you don't get results until Monday though try to enjoy your weekend and keep busy to keep your mind off if it. Good luck!

    Thankyou Keags. I tried to explain to the girl how waiting would be hard and talking about our last baby. She cut me off and was kinda abrupt so I just let it go.

    Still couldn't hurt to call again. DS one had a test from his newborn screen come back positive with a metabolic disorder and we had to rescreen. The results were due on the Friday of a long weekend. I called the lab itself and a woman called me "secretly" at the very end of the day. She said she could tell his anxious I was and didn't want me to have to wait. Can't hurt to be a squeaky wheel I guess.

    Oh I'm so sorry. I know its easier said than done but try to relax. If no one has been able to review the results yet then there wouldn't be much to tell. I'm sorry she was so insensitive though. Is there anything you can do to keep your mind off of it? Any plans for the weekend?

    I'm going to be doing alot of cleaning this weekend Kaholland. At least now my anxiety will be low.
