Advice on bibs

hello! My LO drools like crazy and it seems like she goes thru bibs all day. I don't really care for the ones I have since they all seem to get so wet they go thru and on to her clothes, which defeats the purpose.

Any recommendations on awesome bibs that keep clothes dry?

Thanks

Re: Advice on bibs

  • I got a pack of bibs for my shower that have plastic on the backside. I actually forgot about them until reading this, so I haven't used them yet, lol! But will be breaking them out today to try them.

I find the Carter's brand bibs work best at keeping my sons shirt dry when eating and drooling.
  • I love the Carters brand ones but they are 14.99 for 3. The Target version of Carters also works well, is half the price but does not last as long in the wash.

  • I always just used the terry ones without a liner.  They worked best for us, even with a prolific drooler.  And no, I don't change the bib that much, maybe once a day if it's really bad, but my son would usually just have the one bib on all day.  This did not include eating solids.  The heavy duty bibs came out for that.

  • Back when James was a baby I remember bibs from Etsy seller Apple Tree Boutique were all the rage on TB. I never bought any bc he wasn't a big drooler, but they sure are cute.

Yes! Apple Tree bibs are fantastic.

  • I forget the brand but I got bibs at Buy Buy Baby that are rolled at the top (by the neck) so they absorb a ton of drool. I think it's Sprout or something like that.
