The wound vac is now in place! Now I sort of like the fact that he didnt do the incision on the normal bikini line. And I gotta say I feel SO much better than I have been feeling all week. It's not painful having it in place but its not exactly comfortable. It's literally a gaping hole filled with foam. The wound opens up in the shape of a mouth so I call it "Tina the Talking Tummy" lol so inappropriate I know but I gotta find some light in this darkness c: The surgeon who did the procedure said "she's too big which is why she got the infection. If she was skinny this would not be a problem"..ohhh my
Mom had a field day with him! Excuse me sir, my weight is none of your business and I contracted this infection while still in the hospital being sewn back up because I wasn't cleansed properly before sutures. People and their shameful behaviors I tell you. Oh well. My mom brought my baby to see me
Yesterday! Having him with me made me so happy and made me forget all the physical and emotional pain I was going through. And today when I was brought back to my room for recovery he was here waiting for me. We just put him down for a nap. All in all things are looking a bit better and now I'm getting a home health nurse to come in and attend to the wound 3x a week and hopefully this thing heals in about a month

Again, thank you ladies for your many prayers and good thoughts towards me and my family. I believe in the power of prayer C:
Attaching a photo of the vac so you ladies can see what it's like first hand. If you have ANY signs of infection, even the TINIEST bit like redness, drainage or swelling GET IT CHECKED OUT. I cannot stress it enough. Don't end up like me.
I also threw in a pic of Jae and I saying hi! He says thank you for thinking of his mommy C:

But your pic of you and baby looks great! I'm also amazed at his hair! Too cute!!
Glad the vac is in place and you're feeling better. That doc is an ass so don't listen to him because not a skinny person in history has ever caught an infection... Anything to take the blame off themselves.
