I think Coraline is fine, I think Lorelai is fine, I am not really a fan of "hybrid-ing" names though. It seems like one of those things that is trying too hard to be unique, and comes off sort of tacky.

Lol, I mean, I am not like "oooo I LOVE IT!" but it is not TOO bad. I wouldn't pick it because I love Coraline too much.

I dislike hybrid names. An old family friend was named after her parents Norm and Brinda. They named her Norinda.

I love the name Coraline but DH doesn't so its not on my list. :-q

I do not like Coralai. I don't like pronouncing it and I don't like the way it looks.

How is it pronounced? It would be a fine name if they stopped at Cora without adding the -lai.

I love hybrid names, if they sound good together. Esp when they have meaning.... I ain't gonna lie, when I saw Coralai - first thing I thought of was "correlate" and then you clarified Lorelei.

Cora is nice... but I'm not a fan of the Coralai rendition.
