It's actually a girl, back to the drawing board!

First ultrasound said boy, this week it was clearly a girl. I haven't been thinking about girl names at all and need some inspiration. DD#1 is Brynn. I tend to like shorter names that don't end in A. The boy names we had on the list (so you can get a feel for our style) were: Grant, Graham, Landon, Linclon, Declan, Ronan, Rowan, Holden, Gavin, Vaughn.

I curently have these names on my girl list but none of them are screaming "this is it" to me. Any suggestions?

Arden (seems close to Brynn because the endings are the same)

Reese

Maeve

Morgan

Greta (ends in "a" I know)

Harlow

I like Harlow & Reese (though I do prefer Rhys for a boy). Other suggestions-

My sister has Maeve on her list and also really likes Caitlin.
I know someone who's using the name Maeve and also had Jane on her list. (although I'm partial to the less popular spelling of Jayne because that's how it is spelled in my family)

Love Arden and don't think it's too close to Brynn. I like all your other options too, with Greta being my fave besides Arden.

Other suggestions? Chloe, Elise, Carys, Lena, Gemma, Lila... I know, those end in "a"!

Love Wren and Brooke, but I think they're too close to Brynn. I also like Halle and it's a family name so I might add that one in. I really want to like Carys too, but I just worry about the spelling/pronunciation to really consider it.

We have very similar tastes! My DS is a Landon......and Harlow, Greta, and Arden were on my girls list for baby # 2. We've been told we're having another boy, but as you know all too well, we can't be 100% sure until our 20 wk.!

I know a little girl named Reagan and it doesn't make me think of the president. I'd say it suits her well. Go for it

Er, I *strongly* associate the name Reagan with the president, and I assume most people over the age of 35 would as well. I wish people would realize the name communicates something whether they intend it or not.

I like Arden (GP for me), Maeve, and Greta from your list. Not a fan of Harlow or Reese. Morgan is okay but again, being older than the mean on TB, I remember when it was mostly a boy name.
