Southwest Infant Fares

Has anyone booked or inquired about this?  I've attempted to call now twice and was on hold forever.  They do not sell these tickets online.  Just wondering if the price is worth the wait.

    I don't have experience with this, but I googled it and it looks like the discount is off the full price, so if you can purchase tickets at a discount online it will be cheaper to buy an adult ticket than to sit on hold for the infant price.

    Lap infants are free, but they won't ticket them until you get to the front desk to check baggage.  You'll need to do this anyway, even if you don't check luggage.

    TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

    Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!

    Thanks ladies.  We know we don't need to pay anything for him.  Was thinking it could be easier for travel to have 3 seats in a row.  I think we're going to cross our fingers that the flight isn't full and people will naturally pass up a seat next to an infant if at all possible.

    Just an FYI, when we flew with BM it took forever to get through security.

    UGH, thanks.  I'm totally dreading the security fiasco.  To make it  more interesting, my husband is injured and in a walking boot.  It's going to be a hot mess.

    We just had LO sitting in our lap.  We lucked out and had an extra seat on the way back.  We just checked our carseat and carried LO around the airport in her little carrier and we flew through security with no problems.  Don't forget to take your child's birth certificate with you when you go to the airport.  It is required if they are under the age of 2.
