AW Babies are magic...

My best friend of almost 20 years lost her younger brother yesterday in a horrible car accident. Her mom is insane and they really don't talk and her dads in jail and she doesn't know how to even contact him. Her brother meant the world to her. I found out on the train ride home and went straight to her brothers house from there. Needless to say, she's a complete mess.

I didn't get home until super late so Bailru was already asleep. When I left in the morning she was still sleeping. I missed her tons and just wanted to come home and hold her so tight.

She woke up about a half hour ago and I went in with a bottle to feed her. As soon as she saw me she got so happy. I fed her and changed her. While I was changing her, she took her binki out, smiled so big, and started making the kiss sound at me!!! Shes been doing the kiss for a few months, but this timing was incredible. My heart melted!!!

I think these babies might be magical....

They definitely are. DHs grandfather passed away when DD was 2 months old and we frequently would bring her over for a visit with his dad or Grandma to make them feel better...just her presence would cheer them up! She also cheered him up a ton in the hospital before he passed away...it was a nice thing to see!
