Eye dr update

So went to the eye dr yesterday, he didn't do a dilatation , but he wants me to see a retina specialist. He thinks that MAYBE my retina is slightly detaching from the viscus in my eye. I asked what this would mean, and he didn't want to go there yet, he just wants my eye to looked at first and then go from here. Just need a referral from my primary so BCBS will cover the appt.

If it is a slight detachment, it's should just be a minor surgery to repair it...my mom had it done a couple of years back and it wasn't a big deal.

I'll have to have it done before Sept 30, because my dept is closing and I'll lose my ins.

they did moms a couple of days after she met with the eye dr...it was just a quick outpatient thing with a follow up the next day
