2nd baby, different symptoms?

This is my second baby.. And although I've had nausea with both pregnancies it's worse this time around. And I threw up today for the first time ever during pregnancy. With my daughter, I felt sick off and on... But was still able to function and it was gone by 10 weeks. I'm 7 weeks. I also broke out on my neck and chest horribly with my daughter but no sign of that yet. Could this indicate a different sex? Did any other moms out there have a different pregnancy to find out they had a different sex? I'm really happy with either but we are hoping for a boy as this will be the last pregnancy I believe..

    I have different symptoms also.  The first time around I was perfectly fine, just extremely HOT and starving all of the time.  This time I feel like crud on and off all day. :(  Oh, I am a mean son-of-a-gun too this time.  I *think* I was nice last time... :)

    Yes, yes, yes!! My first pregnancy was pretty easy breezy, I remember my main symptom was smell, and I only got sick when I smelled something I didn't like. This pregnancy has been worse, I've been so sick multiple I haven't been able to get out of bed (I just got some nausea pills so hopefully that helps), anyways, I feel your pain! I also have had people tell me that means it is a boy, but idk I think it sound too wives-tales. Who knows though! I thought I was having twins actually because they run in my family and it can be a sign of worse symptoms, but just had my first u/s and there is just one! Guess it is just a normal thing, but good luck! Get feeling better soon!

    I suspect twins too... Only because they run in my husbands family and I didn't feel this horrible, not even close with my daughter! I have been in bed all day I just feel absolutely horrible!! Thankfully my husband got off work early to help with our daughter cause I am struggling! I just wanna get a doctors appointment soon and possibly ask for nausea medication. I have had to give up multiple work shifts already including tonight because I just cannot be on my feet for 6 hours or more feeling this way...
