I've been dreading teeth too. So far we're safe but I have a feeling it's any day now. I'd say to hold off on the tylonal until u know she needs it. She might be fine on the plane and the teething shouldn't effect the plane ride as in making it worse for her. If she seems in pain before the flight then give it to her but I wouldn't do it "just in case". But I also have a problem with medicating babies if there isn't a sickness. I know some give it before flights because it "might@ help but I don't think that's really fair. That's just me. We took dd all the way to Amsterdam and were in several flights and she never had a problem.

I suspect that you cannot take it while on a plane. Well, I couldn't anyway. I am also wishing for amazing toothless baby until 1 year old. However, if the 2 hour stint of crying in the middle of the night for the first time ever last night is any indication, the tooth fairy has landed.
Faye has had line s for five days now. I asked my Sil and her oldest came almost overnight. Her youngest took more then a week per tooth. Good luck. Teeth suck.

I know u can bring Tylenol on the plane, I went to Fl last week and brought it with no problem. It's under 3 oz so it's fine, I premeditated just in case and dd had no problem with her ears. It was a good flight there and back good luck!
I would definitely bring Tylenol with you (I think it falls under the 3 oz rule), and maybe gel if you have that. I don't know if I'd necessarily worry about giving it to her beforehand, but it's better to have it in case you need it later. To answer your question, I think once I could see and feel the tooth, it was not long at all (like less than a week), but of course, every kid is different. Good luck!
DS had little ridges under his gums for about 3-4 days and then after one hellish night, he had both his bottom teeth. He was always fine during the day, though. However, when his top 4 came in last week, he was a bit of a grump for about 3 days, which I could completely sympathize with, given the state of his poor, blistery gums.
One more vote for bringing the Tylenol with you- you'll be so grateful if you need it. Maybe some teething gel also if you don't want too much medication (?)
If the Tylenol bottle fits in your sandwich Baggie of liquids in your carry-on, you can take it. I have done this twice. I don't give Tylenol at home for no reason, but I have given it before getting on a plane. I can tell you that the times I have done it, she has been much happier than when I didn't.
